In Amazon Rainforest, Traits remain facedown until you choose to reveal them. This radically shifts the gameplay, and changes every other Module you combine it with.

Modifications for the Digital Version:
We've made a few modifications in the digital game to keep the gameplay fast and fluent in multiplayer games. Specifically, traits that trigger automatically when it's not your turn will automatically flip over and reveal when they are triggered. This includes Scavenger, Tusks, and Fertile. If a Social is paired with Scavenger or Tusks, it will reveal as well. I wouldn't recommend relying on these when you're trying to bluff that you have a facedown defense!
